Beiracar – Comércio e Indústria, SA was founded on April 24, 1980 with the aim of selling DAF vehicles in the districts of Viseu, Guarda and Covilhã. Beiracar has guided and developed its entire business project based on the philosophy and strategy of DAF Trucks, thus assuming as intrinsic values, honesty, intelligence, courage, energy and vigilance in order to respond responsibly to the current needs of the Transport Industry. Since April 2008, Beiracar has been operating in new facilities, with a total area of 18,000 m2 (7,000 m2 of covered area), featuring a large workshop, with areas for electrical and mechanical repairs, bodywork and collision repairs, a paint shop with independent preparation and painting boxes, and 35 doors for trucks to enter and exit. At the beginning of 2013, Beiracar became independent, separating itself from the group to which it was associated and which had since been dissolved, and signed a new contract with DAF Trucks, thus beginning a new stage in its history, continuing its activity as a service and parts sales dealer.
